Current Mission Project:
Ministry of Danny White - Palmares, Costa Rica and Camp Joy near Puntaranus.
Our last mission consisted of nine mission participants. The group included three dozer operators who spent four days preparing a soccer field and a site for a boys dorm. A paint crew consisted of five painters who spent three days painting the interior of the girls dorm. Pastor Stilwell spent most of his time securing materials and cutting cement board for the exterior of the girls dorm. Several University Students and the two sons of Pastor White installed windows in the girls dorm.
Camp Joy currently has no boys dorm. The steel framing has been delivered to the site.
One of Stilwell Construction's employees drove from Ohio to Costa Rica to deliver the steel needed to
construct the boy's dorm. It is sometimes less
expensive to drive a load of materials to
Costa Rica from the US as compared to shipping
it by Air or by Sea.
Pastor Stilwell has facilitated the donation of one School Bus and One Passenger Van to the White Ministry. These vehicles were also driven to Costa Rica from the United States. These vehicles originated in Mercer County, West Virginia.
